One of my favorite blankets I've ever made (for myself). It was pretty time consuming to make, since it's a dc pattern/waffle type stitch and then you weave in every strand to get the plaid look. I made this back around when I got married- or the year before that- so we're talking 5-6 years. I also made a few others. Spent a lot of time crocheting and weaving and cutting strings. Well worth it though, after all this time, I still love the look of this blanket.
